Carl F Asseff MD

Dr. Asseff has been delivering the highest quality care to greater Clevelanders for over 30 years. He is a licensed and board certified ophthalmologist with a specialty in treating cataracts and glaucoma. He has performed over 30,000 surgeries for cataract, glaucoma, and other eye disease. When you visit Dr. Asseff, you will receive a thorough vision and eye health exam. Your vision will be tested by Dr. Asseff personally.

Dr. Asseff, a Cleveland native, received his MD from Ohio State University. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Cleveland and was selected as an NIH Special Fellow in Glaucoma at Washington University in St. Louis. He currently supports an Endowed Chair in Ophthalmology at Case Western Reserve University's School of Medicine. He also serves our nation as a Captain in the U.S. Naval Reserves.

James Hill, Optician

Jim Hill has been with Advanced Eye Care since 2004. He brings over 30 years' experience in all facets of the optical industry, including sales and lab work. His vast experience will be a great benefit to you as he helps you select the best pair of glasses for your lifestyle from our fine selection of frames.

Michele Worrell, LDO

Michele Worrell has been a Licensed Dispensing Optician for over 10 years. She has worked in all areas of eye care, from patient care to practice management. She brings a broad knowledge to Advanced Eye Care and to the patients she serves.

Mary Stitt

Mary Stitt, a Licensed Ophthalmic Assistant, has over 30 years' experience in eye care. She will assist Dr. Asseff during your visit, and she can answer many questions you have about your eye care. Mary is friendly and knowledgeable, and she will make your visit to Advanced Eye Care a pleasant experience.

Kathy Solomon

Kathy Solomon, our Scheduling Manager, has been with Advanced Eye Care since 2004. As manager to both patient and practice scheduling, she can address all your scheduling concerns. She is friendly and professional, and you will enjoy meeting her.

Amy Asseff

Amy Asseff is Advanced Eye Care's Certified Medical Coder and Billing Manager. She has been with Advanced Eye Care since 1998 and became certified in medical coding in 2005. She can answer all of your billing and claims submission questions, as well as assist you with any billing problems you may encounter.

Debbie Heyink

Debbie Heyink is Advanced Eye Care's patient receptionist. She will welcome you with a friendly smile and cheerful manner. She can also address your questions and concerns during your visit to Advanced Eye Care.
